Was this the bone carver we saw in Fes?

This New York Times article about Fes profiles an elderly carver of bone combs - could it be the same one we saw on our tour?

    I'm sure it's the same man. I had forgotten about that article. Dar Seffarine sounded wonderful but when I inquired about availability for our dates, the price was almost double what was quoted in the article.
